Your photos are processed only on your device

Every photo effect you see in Fun Face Game is created right in your browser. When you add a photo, it is processed on your own device — it is never uploaded to our servers, and we have never received any of them, so we couldn't look at your photos even if we wanted to. Photos are processed and stored only in your browser on this device, and you can delete them at any time from within the game. If you choose to include avatars in a backup file, that file is created on your device and saved wherever you choose; whether to delete it is up to you, and we don't receive it.

About backups

To protect your privacy, your game progress, high scores, settings, and face data are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. Our servers hold no copy of any of it.

Backup file: you can pack your progress into a backup file and keep it wherever you choose (your phone or cloud drive); whether your avatars are included is your choice. We never receive it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — for example, which games and levels people enjoy and which ones feel boring — as a guide for improving the games. This information is collected using cookies and similar technologies. It is aggregated and does not include your name, your photos, or anything derived from your photos. Advertising

Our site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at www.aboutads.info.

YouTube API Services

Fun Face Game Studio manages its own YouTube channels with an internal content publishing tool, and that tool uses YouTube API Services.

The tool is used only by the studio. It has no connection to the games and nothing to do with players' photos (see "Your photos are processed only on your device" above).

Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

The tool asks YouTube for one permission, youtube.force-ssl, and uses it to upload videos to the studio's channels, to read the status and statistics of the studio's own videos, and to post the first comment on those videos.

The tool reads and stores: the ID and name of the studio's own channels; the ID and URL of the studio's own videos; video status; view, like, and comment counts; and error codes. It does not store other people's comments and does not read viewers' personal information.

Statistics are kept; at least once every 30 days the tool checks that the authorization is still valid and the video still exists, and IDs are re-read from YouTube on the same schedule. Other YouTube data is removed within 30 days. When a video has been removed from YouTube, its stored data is removed at the next check (within 30 days); a video marked as deleted in the tool has its data removed within one day. Technical run logs, which may include YouTube's responses, are kept for up to 7 days.

Access can be revoked in two ways. In the tool, choose "Disconnect YouTube": Google's sign-in window opens to confirm the channel owner, authorization is revoked with Google, and the stored YouTube data is removed right away. Or, on Google's security settings page (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions), remove access for "funfacegame"; the stored YouTube data is then removed within 30 days.

The tool itself keeps sign-in and other settings only in the browser's local storage. It does not use cookies and does not load third-party analytics. Google's sign-in component is loaded only when "Disconnect YouTube" is pressed. Cookies and advertising elsewhere on this site are described in the Analytics and Advertising sections.

Children

Fun Face Game is made for families and friends to laugh together. As a service, it is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 — kids are welcome to join the fun with a parent or guardian. We do not collect or store personal information on our servers, from anyone; photos added to the game stay on the player's own device (see §1).
